One of the motivation projects for children’s formation is the campaign called Switch off TV, switch on yourself!, which takes place annually in May. The initiative aims to show all the people that free time can be spent in more creative and active ways than by sitting in front of television or computer. By means of varied activities, eRko leaders offer children an opportunity for a pleasant experience instead of passive time spent on the Internet, watching TV or playing computer games. Through shared experiences we try to point out that actively and creatively used time is more enriching and helps to build relationships in families and communities.
This campaign is an opportunity to become more aware of the value of leisure time, talk to children about the media that affect them and enjoy their free time in families and among friends.
