eRko hosted EuroCourse this year – a very important event that is organised every year by one of the member organisation of Fimcap. It was intended for young leaders and took place in Nitra in Slovakia from 8th to 12th April 2015. Its topic was „Enjoy your freedom!“ EuroCourse attended 18 participants from 6 countries from all over the Europe – Belgium, Denmark, Lithuania, Malta, spanish Catalunya, and from Slovakia. What impression did it leave on them? We asked them directly.
David Chrvala (eRko Slovakia): It was very good that I could attend the EuroCourse right in Slovakia. At the beginning I didn ´t know what to expect but now I don´t regret that I was there. It was perfect event and maybe one of a kind where I could meet a lot of people from the whole Europe who are involved in the same area as me – which is volunteering and working with children.
Through these days the programme was fitting very well. Very fetching lectures were involved so as the lectors – MEPs Miroslav Mikolasik, Branislav Skripek, Jan Figel and more. These workshops were focused on the responsibility and about being the right leader. After long and tedious but fulfilling listening a good energizer was great to energize the whole team.
EuroCourse was very good opportunity of my life regarding the values or even language experience. I think it was very goog that I attended. I met new friends that supports me in my work. I recommend to experience something like this to everyone.
Mariàngels López (CCCCCE Catalunya): These days in Slovakia I have met a lot of people, all different and good people. Together we have found the meaning of be free, and enjoy our freedom. And how we can transmit these values to our children. One of the best ways to learn is to share experiences with people from different cultures and ideals. We have found peace these days too, never forget this great experience and this awesome people
Maria Zammit (ZAK Malta): I feel that the theme of the course – freedom – was tackled very well and from differemt perspectives. I have already had some knowledge about the topic, and now I feel more enriched because we discussed it several times.
